A safe sunscreen is vital to your health to the health of ocean-life. It’s come to our attention of the harmful chemicals in sunscreen, specifically oxybenzone and octinoxate, that are having an adverse affect on our us and our Coral Reefs. These are mineral-based and created with all-natural ingredients. These are PETA approved or EWG Verified, eco-friendly, gentle on skin, long lasting, and still reflect the sun’s UV rays.

EWG Verified Products are reviewed to ensure they are free from EWG’s known chemicals of concern and adhere to strict health standards. Ranging from baby diapers to beauty products to soaps, you can rest assured that your health is their top priority.

No sunscreen? Do this!

Always wear adequate clothing, find shade when possible, wear sunglasses, and a hat. Or try to plan your day around the sun and/or avoid being outdoors when the sun is the strongest.

Personally, I avoid being in direct sunlight from 11am – 2 pm… especially on those hot, summer days!

Not all sunscreens labeled “mineral, vegan, natural, or organic” are good for your health. Many leading brands contain harmful chemicals known to cause cancer, allergy flare-ups, and negatively affect our reproductive organs.
